Hello musicians and future musicians, and welcome to my website!  I have been teaching piano lessons to students of all ages and levels since 2007.  I have a Bachelors degree in Music Theory and Composition from Loyola Marymount University and a Masters degree in Musicology from the Bob Cole Conservatory at California State University Long Beach.  I have a PhD in Musicology from Claremont Graduate University, in which my research focused on historical piano instruction and how to incorporate new methodologies to make teaching piano more student-centered.  I incorporate classical technique, music theory, composition, and music history into lessons.
